Orli would be wary of Cayde at first, the last time she saw “Cayde” he was a nightmare. Val would be less wary- immediately thinking it’s 100% truly Cayde. Koa- never met Cayde so he would not recognize him when they meet.
Orli in the end here is rambling and bombarding him with all the pictures she’s taken these past few years and Val is adding his two cents to her retellings.
ALTWeee!!!!! IKORA CONFIRMED FOR NEXT SEASON!!! This means that Zavala's mention of how Ikora and Eris will make sure to monitor the Savathun situation was a hint. It has to be. Ikora and Eris in my season please. If anything, at least Ikora is confirmed for now.

And of course. The bastard is here. Hello Immaru. No clue what's the area here. Might be the Moon or maybe that one temple of Xivu in the Throne World. I'm partial to it being the Moon, it reminds me of the Shrine of Oryx where we found Crow and "Osiris" in Season of the Hunt. Going back there for Immaru/Savathun again would feel cool. Interesting regardless, I wonder if this is the start of the season already with us negotiating with Immaru right away. He's going to be such a bitch, I can't wait.

A place of "new wonders and old memories" you say? Interesting wording. So far my speculation for the portal space is that it's a place where the Darkness domain of memories and history of the universe can be accessed/interacted with.
I am looking forward to the new season! I am also hoping we get more of Flint! Immaru and Flint bickering would be hilarious 😂
Though I am also glad to see Ikora back in the mix! We’ve had a fair bit of Eris over the last few seasons and whilst I always enjoy her story lines, we’ve not seen a lot of Ikora as of late.
I’m just also curious as to what the season finale will entail for Sloane!
Many Destiny thoughts today but can we talk about the character development Mara has had? She went from calling us an "It" in the original D1 campaign and talking down to us, to knighting us as part of her Queensguard

I like how in her character development you can see the moments at which she gained those shreds of respect for us. But it was done in such a slow way I didn’t initially notice there was less contempt when speaking to/of us.
I did especially enjoy seeing the impact of Crow’s story on Mara.
